My Love Whisperer

His voice so soft floated through the Pines as
the sun slowly set; recalling waves of passion
in my mind.

Wholly swirling and inundating my aching heart
from his love lost eons ago,
When the angry sea took him on that violent
night; to where I do not know.

My heart does not beat for another and never will,
I think of no other as I sit upon a sea rock on our
favorite hill.

We picnicked on the hill from food collected on his
around the world voyage,
When he left on a storming white capping night his
ship lost its buoyage.

I prayed and waited for the site of his ship riding the
mighty waves back to me, but no avail,
No tears will come---as I no longer wail.

I look no more for the purple and white sail,
I no longer anticipate a letter in the mail.

Now I sit, on my sea rock waiting for him to appear,
I know he will come because my ending is near.

My eyes are watching the thunderous skies as
lightning streaks the dark horizon,
Will he know me as my body has become wizen.

I hear his voice becoming louder,
My waiting heart beat prouder.

By sight and sound his lips touched mine,
Ever so light while sweet chills dance upon my spine.

We soared over our favorite hill and above the pines,
We look so young and fresh, our spirits sparkled like
polished diamonds from his mines.

His ship waited for us to sail for eternity on the seas,
Celebrating the salty air and gentle breezes.

Love never dies,
Don’t believe the lies.

A Walk with the Past

As I walked down an autumn trail,
My memories of long ago started to unveil.

I can feel his spirit as it walks with me,
He holds my hand and looks into my blue
eyes to see.

If love still lives in my heart for him,
Or has the love light become dim?
He kisses my hand with his masterful lips
so full and sweet a taste of long ago,
Does he think he is still my beau?

He left me when snow covered this land,
My emotion will not march to his band.

I once loved him with all my heart and soul,
To him--- my heart is now a piece of coal.

Only a letter he left me---no kiss, no hug,
Did he think I was his accommodating rug?

To walk upon my loving heart---his unfeeling
foot steps did hurt,
Like his unspoken words---and non-kissable lips
---to treat me like dirt.

And now he thinks his Extra Sensory Perception,
Can be sent in my direction.

I say get off my trail and out of my mind,
Your spirit can fly back into time to one who might
enjoy your insensitivities---you are not my kind.

So this therapeutic walk I have taken,
All hurts and bruises it has awakened,
and in my heart he has been forsaken.

My heart is free to love once more,
To all negativity I shut the door.

I feel the cool breeze playing with my hair,
As I leave the trail without a care.

To go home to my present love,
Sent from the Angels from above.

Adored By Him

Mary softly rubbed her baby bump,
And was reward with a kick that made her jump.

Where are you Michael she thought---as she
watched the snowflakes fall without a sound,
Virginally white---each uniquely shaped---whirling
around slowing landing on the frozen ground.

Michael left 6 months ago---to fly a mission over
foreign soil,
Only two short letters came in months---thinking
made her stomach recoil.

Alone in their little love nest of a home---she took
his letters out,
She read the first one---as she rocked by the fireplace
—and she cried as she read what it was about.

It said:

My beautiful Sweetheart---time is standing still for me
---you are so far away,
My eyes are so lonely--- yearning to see your sweet face
---forever and a day.

This land is not like America---the people just survive from
 one day to the next,
It is like they expect only this---it is like they are hexed.

I read your letters over and again---they are my breath
---my life---my sin,
I feel your body in my mind---your silkiness so warm
---under my skin.

I sleep in your arms each night---the essence comes
through my mind and wraps around me so protectively,
Your lips kiss me deeply as the night shadows fall
---my heart feels levity.

Your love surrounds me through the day,
And helps the ambiances prolong the stay.

What Heaven gave us---nothing can take
away---in this world or not,
Our souls and hearts are bonded---fate has made
 its plot.

Take care my precious love---my heart is yours
--- to keep,
When earth is only---- dust particles in space
---love does not sleep.

Forever and always---I am truly yours,
Because it is you---my heart adores.

Love Forever and Always,

Mary rocked holding his letter next to heart
---and fell asleep,
Hours later she awoke in bed---confused she
 started to weep.

And in the room dashed a man in uniform
---with fear on his face,
Mary screamed and jumped into his arms
---this was her place.

My precious you are home---and I have
 a surprise--- for you,
I see your surprise--- and I pray his or
her eyes--- are blue.

Then doing as all lovers do---made sweet love
---until they heard a mourning dove coo,
Mary and Michael together in bed---slept until
the sun dried the early dew.

Then Michael said---Mary---May I have this dance
---he asked in his special way,
Have your forgotten my Sweetheart---it is Valentine Day.

Hearts of pure and true love intertwine,
Counting years together--- makes it all the sweeter
---like the finest of wine.

A Walk with My Darling

Her eyes never left her Jim’s face,

How could they now be in this place?

Their lifetime together was great for the most part---one could say,

Until their first child died at birth---it broke their hearts--- that sad day.

They worked the farm side-by-side,

Together they raised their seven boys

who---were their heart-felt pride.

The boys knew the labor of a farm,

They worked with their dad who also

taught them the land’s charm.

“Sons you have to respect the land and give it
what it should need,

or your farming efforts will not succeed.”

“Treat it like your Sweetheart, give her tender
care, feed her, and water
her---sweet talk her, so she will germinate your seed,

My Sons---this land is all you will ever need.”

Each evening at sunset Jim and Alice walked the path
to the pond hand-in-hand,

She was his woman and he was her man.

Their love was never threaten by cheating thoughts or

When they said “I do” it was without a retraction.

He called her “Mother” after the children came,

Growing up they never heard her first name.

The children heard them laughing, and saw them
holding hands,

As they talked and walked to their “Sweetheart Seat”

he made her years ago in their beginning plans.

He stopped and kissed her red and wrinkled hands

because they were lovely to Jim,

She held his hard callus one---she held on tight---as

she sang his favorite hymn.

He whispered her name, “Alice I love you with all my

heart and soul.”

She whispered back, “Jim, my darling I will love you
even after we are in the ground cold.”

The years flew by as the sons became men,

Five sons left the farm---to never farm again,

Two of the youngest stayed with their Mom
and Dad,

To farm and harvest and reap from the land,

These two young men took a farmer’s stand.

So they were never alone,

Happily in the summer their grandchildren
came home.

Jim's health failed first,

The sons got him a nurse.

Then the hospital time came next after his
95th Birthday,

The ambulance took Alice who rode with
her Jim that day,

she meant with him she wanted to stay.

She held his old wrinkled callus hand and kissed
each finger,

As the pain in her heart---did linger.

The seven sons stood at the end of his bed,

and each in turn kissed him bye on his cold forehead,

Then the doctor came in and said it was time for

Alice to leave---she refused and talked to her Jim

until his body was dead.

“My Darling Jim, take my hand and walk with me
once more,

And wait for me when you get to Heaven’s Door.”

“Walk slowing Jim and I will be there soon.”

The next day they found Alice in her bed she

had died in the late afternoon.

On their gravestones it read:

“Walk Slowly and Wait for Us”

And under was written each son’s name

And just baby for the one they lost.

Faithful Love Endures

The grandchildren faithfully visited and put
Sunflowers and Lavender Roses on Jim and
Alice’s graves.

When life ends on earth one’s spirit goes to the
land of the braves.

Each grandchild now grown with children of their

own---each child like a clone,

Making sure their lives will never be alone.

All the loves and joys,

From above are passed on to the great-grand boys.

Because loving spirits revisits their love ones on earth,

Until each are joined by them---for a rebirth.

Families’ devotion spins around in a circle of everlasting love,

Deeply blessed by---ancestors who are smiling from above.

My September Lover

I’ll tell you of a time so long ago,

It was in the fall---before the freezing snow.

I walked through my parents’ back woods on
the farm,
I’ve traveled the pathways many times---without
 fear or harm.

Colorful hues of leaves decorated the ground,
It proved impossible to walk without a sound.

The crunching leaves echoed beneath my feet,
Created a comforting noise---like personally to me
they greet.

A cool September breeze teased and tossed my
long blonde hair,
A warning sensation alerted my senses---I stopped
to stare.

There on the hilltop a man on a horse, stood silently
as a portrait in a frame,
His ebony hair curled over his collar, and his gray eyes
focused on me without shame.

No smile was present as far as I could see,
He began to move fast towards me.

I never felt fear until now---but I stood my ground,
And I watched him as he approached without a sound.

When he stopped, he called my name---Margareta---
then took my hand,
I looked into his eyes and saw where my future would be
----on another planet---with a desert of sand.

We met every day in September, our fall of the year,
He said: “I came to take you away with me, over the
mountains and many seas, we will fly through space in my ship.”
To always be with my lover Zulio from another time
made me deliriously happy to know he's always near.

He said three Septembers would be our courting time
before he was mine,
But he wanted to take me with him this time.

The months flew by----but not fast enough---until it was
September once more,
And there he was on the hill top waiting---the man I adore.

This September we spent in sharing our lives, we talked,
made love under the moonlight as it filtered through the trees.
Our bed was a blanket on the fallen brown, reds and golden leaves.

This time a gift of an engagement ring with a blue diamond
shined on my finger,
It sparkled with his love, which in my heart would always

Then the third September came and went without Zulio---
I was devastated,
Every day sitting on our blanket--–I waited.

The last day of September---his father came to tell me Zulio
had to marry another,
It was their law--- he had to obey their leader or die---but I
could marry his brother.
My tears inundated without an end,
His father left me crying and said: “Young hearts mend.”

My ring I still wear on a chain around my neck---waiting,
Because I know he will return for me---until then every September---I am hating.

Zulio----My Darling---I wait forever---anyway,
Until the day I look into your eyes of gray.

An Angry Sea Took Him

I Watch the Angry Sea That Took Him From Me

Little dark thoughts zipping around

Turning my life upside-down,

While leaves of gold and browns,

With hues of colors falling on the ground,

Colorful leaves escaping from the trees

without a sound.

Memories I wish my mind would not recall,

He left me sadly in the fall,

Tears still freely wet my face---as thoughts befall,

I still desire him passionately---above all,

Our bed is still empty---down the hall.

Of other men, I do not care,

As they try to court me---and openly stare,

I feel his presents in the cool air,

Not to capture my heart again, but to just be there,

As my Guardian Angel his spirit is everywhere.

Eons it seems since he sailed out to sea,

Leaving his love home with me,

For our 'True Love'---- it can only be,

Never will my heart be free,

If only the fall shadows---would flee.

At night I sit on the beach  alone---blanketed in his old shirt,

Watching the angry waves, hoping this pain will divert,

The chill of the night accents young dreams, mine are subvert,

Wishing for happiness not a heart-broken hurt,

I pray my sad memories of him---to please desert.

When sleep has fallen upon my weary mind,

I feel his lips so full and masterful but so kind,

His kisses keep me dreaming---my eyes are closed, but I am not blind,

My body still radiates from his lovemaking so fine,

My starving soul can now dine.

Does He Really Love You?

                   Watch His Eyes

Watch his eyes when you walk into a room,
Do they shine and follow you---or remain cold as a tomb?

Does he have a special look for you?
His radar is only for your eyes of brown, green or blue?

Do his lips say “I Love You” so quietly only you can hear?
Do his arms enfold you and draw you near?

Does he surprise you with flowers for no reason?
Even though your favorite blooms--- are out of season.

Does he prepare dinner with candlelight and wine?
Does he ask you about you day, while you dine?

He cannot walk past you without a touch or smile,
Does he give you little kisses all the while?

Is his charm real that will last forever?
Has he even been untrue? No never?

Does his smile light if your life?
Can you see being his wife?

Does he love you in all the right ways?
It is the little things that makes one’s heart blaze.

So if he passed all the your expectations,
Then your love has solid foundations.
