An Angry Sea Took Him

I Watch the Angry Sea That Took Him From Me

Little dark thoughts zipping around

Turning my life upside-down,

While leaves of gold and browns,

With hues of colors falling on the ground,

Colorful leaves escaping from the trees

without a sound.

Memories I wish my mind would not recall,

He left me sadly in the fall,

Tears still freely wet my face---as thoughts befall,

I still desire him passionately---above all,

Our bed is still empty---down the hall.

Of other men, I do not care,

As they try to court me---and openly stare,

I feel his presents in the cool air,

Not to capture my heart again, but to just be there,

As my Guardian Angel his spirit is everywhere.

Eons it seems since he sailed out to sea,

Leaving his love home with me,

For our 'True Love'---- it can only be,

Never will my heart be free,

If only the fall shadows---would flee.

At night I sit on the beach  alone---blanketed in his old shirt,

Watching the angry waves, hoping this pain will divert,

The chill of the night accents young dreams, mine are subvert,

Wishing for happiness not a heart-broken hurt,

I pray my sad memories of him---to please desert.

When sleep has fallen upon my weary mind,

I feel his lips so full and masterful but so kind,

His kisses keep me dreaming---my eyes are closed, but I am not blind,

My body still radiates from his lovemaking so fine,

My starving soul can now dine.
