Wake Me with Your Lips Darling
the pages of an old sweetheart lie,
the regrets in the past to die,
my body groan and never ask why,
your lips take me to the sky.
kiss an Angel’s white plumage wing,
zeal makes my heart sing,
give me your love by spring,
just gift me with a diamond ring.
that are trailing along my thigh,
by breath---suddenly---created a sigh, My
lips are swollen and I want to cry,
around you I am a little shy.
you care a little---just share,
you smile my heart does care,
madness for each other is not a dare,
gently with your blue eyes---not stare.
my spirit from the abyss,
leave me with just a passionate kiss,
my heart and soul make a final wish,
two wrapped bodies--soaring in a loving bliss.
my Darling sleep a while-- then wake me with your lips,
with tiny loving nips,
our love nectar takes a few sips,
to our future in paradise--- while planning our love trips.
mortals we feast here for a short dine,
this earth we live on a minuscule vine,
our life is sweeter than wine,
love for you is intense and fine,
feels so breathtaking---it is almost a crime.
Darling kiss me awake in another time,
are no minutes---just passionate sublime,
me with your lips to hear our love chime.
magnificent love is not just a rhyme---
my Darling lost his heart to another
I search for a new love---but find I cannot love any other.
is not good enough for you---said my little brother.
sit upon this rock overlooking the sea,
the waves will bring him back to me,
makes someone’s heart flee?
see the angry dark sky over head,
wonder if my Darling is lying in her bed.
is not in me to wish her dead.
heart skips two beats when a ship comes near,
wait for him every day I fear,
wish and wipe away a tear.
wants my hand in marriage,
travels to me in a golden carriage,
about my Darling he disparages.
he does not know and I will not tell,
one love in my heart does dwell,
cannot lie or I will go straight to Hell.
watch the seagulls fishing for their meal,
sea breeze blows against my body---if only sea salt could heal,
broken heart---so I can again feel.
years has passed and it is 1788,
he returned now---my love still waits,
dream I see him every night on the straits.
ship is beached,
shore he has reached,
now he is my enemy that has breached.
very walls of my heart and left his sword piercing into it,
all my family is having a fit,
just look into his blue eyes and continue to knit.
nothing else I still will always be,
true daughter of the sea,
no man will ever know he has made my heart flee.
